HOW TO INFLUENCE OTHERS

I just finished reading Stephen Covey’s book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and I’m admittedly a bit obsessed with it. While the book is 25 years old, if you’ve read it, I’m sure you would agree that he drops some amazing thought-provoking insights that really resonate with me, but more importantly, with how you can lead in the workplace.

Through your role in the organisation, you inherently have influence, but influence based on job title is superficial. You never really know if people are following your lead or whether they truly believe in your message or in what you’re trying to achieve.

But what if you could influence others to listen with interest, change their mindset, get them to take action, see things your way (while balancing their concerns)? How do you think this would change your leadership?

In this week’s episode of the KnowWTA Show, I break down 2 key takeaways from one of the most influential leadership authors, Stephen Covey on how to influence others by ‘thinking win/win’.

I have no doubt this will be a game changer for some of you, so, let’s get started…

When you’re finished watching, I’d love to know:
