YOU GET THE CULTURE YOU DESERVE
I don’t know about you, but I didn’t find that the recent Australian Royal Commission into the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry shed much ‘new’ light on the scale of the board’s influence on corporate culture.
There’s a lot of content and guidance on what better practice looks like in terms of how the board’s level of influence on culture, and there have been many cases before this recent Royal Commission that have demonstrated this influence and where the board has failed in terms of setting and monitoring an ethical corporate culture.
But this got me thinking … what are the expected behaviours of a board who was passionate about about leading from the heart and putting people first?
That’s the focus of this week’s episode.
